Streak Reports Version 2.0: Streak Merge Functionality

The latest update to Streak Reports is designed to empower users with detailed insights into user engagement patterns through streak data analysis.

The newly added streak merge feature enables users to combine current and recent streaks to maintain accurate data records. This feature is accessible through the “Merge” option within the platform and includes a confirmation step to ensure intentional data modification. 

It operates under specific conditions, such as the current streak date being greater than the recent streak date, and is restricted in cases where the count is “NA”, the campaign is expired or inactive, or the streak rule occurs every time without a set frequency.

Enhancement to Data Retrieval Mechanism

Improving upon the existing data retrieval process, this update significantly enhances the efficiency and speed of accessing dashboard analytics.

Optimizations Include:

1. Direct Cache Server Access

The updated process allows direct access to the cache server, bypassing the initial cache check. This modification reduces the data retrieval time significantly.

2. Real-Time Data Updates

In cases where data is not immediately available, the cache server generates a unique request ID, and the system continuously polls for updates every 10 seconds, ensuring users receive the most current information without unnecessary delays.

3. Impact on Dashboard Performance

This enhancement affects basic reports, including audience, sessions, retention, events, and revenue analytics, by minimizing API calls to the reports server and optimizing the overall data retrieval process.
